Influencers fight over inappropriate behavior at 6-week-old baby’s funeral

Two influencers are at war online after allegedly inappropriate behavior at a 6-week-old boy’s funeral.

Veruca Salt held a funeral for her son Cash in February this year, attended by Gold Coast influencer and adult content creator Tasha Paige.

Salt’s son died of sudden infant death syndrome just six weeks after he was born.

During the funeral, Paige allegedly made inappropriate comments about Salt’s son, got drunk and was filmed without the grieving mother’s consent.

Paige has not addressed the comments she allegedly made about Cash.

However, things came to a head this week after Paige complained on social media that Salt, whose real name is Kimberly Summer Hartley, never thanked her for a baby shower gift.

The 25-year-old then took to a secondary social media account, where she said that six months after her son’s death, Paige was trying to “pick herself up”.

“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I don’t talk about my child or my grief online anymore because I feel like it turns into something even uglier,” Salt said, referring to the criticism she faced for public mourning.

“I honestly can’t believe she has the nerve to say my name on the internet. I’ve barely scratched the surface of the things she’s done.”

She went on to detail what happened at the funeral, claiming Paige upset the other guests and made comments like “he’s going to have so much p***y in heaven” and repeatedly calling Salt a “b ***h bad”.

Salt also claimed that Paige, who publicly stated that she had a miscarriage at the same time, said she understood Salt’s pain because of it.

Other social media users were quick to give their interpretation of events.

“The sad part is that everyone will forget she did it in a year and she’ll still have supporters,” one said.

Another said: “Her behavior is really disgusting.”

Salt then publicly shared a screenshot of a text message from Paige in which she apologized for her behavior the day after the funeral.

Paige has made several videos regarding the allegations made against her, saying that all she was talking about was the baby shower gift and that she was upset that she didn’t get a thank you.

“Before the funeral I was pregnant. “Veruca and I were friends and I was talking to her about my pregnancy and what I wanted to do, whether I would choose to carry it or not,” she said.

She claimed that Salt told her to keep it, which the other influencer disputed and said that after the termination of the pregnancy she was going through a lot of emotions.

Paige said those emotions were subconscious and it wasn’t until she was in a situation that triggered them that it all came flooding back.

When Paige got the news about Cash, she was out of state, so she sent flowers and a teddy bear, but said she hadn’t heard from Salt that she understood.

“But the thing is that when I came I received an invitation to the funeral. “When I got the invitation, I said to my friends, ‘I don’t think this is a good idea because I just had an abortion,'” she said, as her friends agreed.

“But I tried to put it aside because I wanted to be there for my friend.”

Paige then wanted to bring another gift to the funeral, so after asking Salt what he liked to drink, she brought tequila. Paige said everyone was drinking at the event and doing shots. That’s when she claims she started getting “emotional and worked up.”

In short, I was hysterical at the funeral,” she said.

“When I went to the funeral I didn’t plan to drink. I drove there.”

She said she sent an apology to Salt because she realized her behavior that day was not acceptable and wanted to take responsibility for what she did, adding that she did not expect Salt to forgive her.

Looking back, she said she shouldn’t have gone to the funeral given what she had been through.

Since making this public statement, Paige said she’s been receiving threats from 14-year-olds online and she doesn’t know what people want her to do.

“It happened in February like two weeks after my miscarriage. I have already contacted. I have already apologized to him directly,” she said.

“I already said how I know I’m up.” I don’t know why people keep coming.”

She said that people had made the same point a hundred times, but said that maybe if they did it a thousand times, she would be able to get their point across.
