Kevin Ford plans to open a food truck with his daughter after he received more than $400,000 from a fundraising campaign for his viral story, according to TMZ.

Ford gained internet fame in 2022 when his Burger King supervisors at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport celebrated the fast food’s 27th anniversary with a variety of random giveaways.

Ford was presented with a backpack containing a movie ticket, a Starbucks cup and a mix of candy and chocolate for his nearly three decades of service.

His daughter, Seryna, wasn’t so happy with her father’s bosses and set up a GoFundMe to show her love for the man who she says helped put his four daughters through high school and college because of his dedication his to the chain.

“He first started working on this job as a single dad when he won custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago,” Seryna wrote in 2022.

“Then, as our family grew and he remarried, he continued to work there because of the wonderful health insurance offered by this employer because he was unionized. This put all four of his daughters through high school and college with full health care coverage.”

The fundraiser has since raised $459,800, well above the original goal of $200.

Ford bought the black and silver food truck from China for about $20,000. The kitchen on wheels is fully stocked with the works, including an oven and grill, the outlet reported.

The exterior is emblazoned with a giant “K27Y,” a tribute to his viral “Kevin 27 Years” fame.

The Burger King employee and his daughter, who trained at the French culinary school Le Cordon Bleu, will start with a basic menu consisting of hamburgers and hot dogs.

Ford told the medium that he wanted to add Filipino dishes to the menu to honor his Filipina fiancee.

As he embarks on his venture, Ford remains a dedicated Burger King employee, but plans to retire by May 2025, his 30th anniversary with the company, he told the media.

The purchase of the new mobile eatery comes months after Ford bought his first home thanks to money raised through GoFundMe.

He closed in on his Pahrump, Nevada home in December. 13, 2023, paying $177,000 for the 846-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home, TMZ previously reported.

“I wanted to show you something, something that you made possible, you did for me, just a hardworking guy,” Ford said in a video posted to Instagram in December. 29. “Now I know it needs work, I’m going to cut the haters off already, I know it’s not a mansion, but it’s mine.”
